Training Program for the Experts of the BCTP Counterpart Organizations, 26-30 May 2008, Ankara/İstanbul
(İGEME organized a Training Program for the Experts of the Balkan Regional Center for Trade Promotion-BCTP Counterpart Organizations with the support of Turkish International Cooperation Agency-TIKA in Ankara and İstanbul, between 26-30 May 2008, successfully.

Totally 10 Experts, 2 from Albania, 2 from Bulgaria, 2 from Montenegro, 1 from Macedonia, 1 from Romania and 2 from Serbia attended the program which was organized by the Permanent Secretariat of BCTP, İGEME on the occasion of the 10th Anniversary of the BCTP foundation.

The topics of the Program which were presented in English language mainly by İGEME Experts were; İGEME and Its Activities, Development of Turkish Foreign Trade and Trade Potential of Turkey, Undersecretariat of the Prime Ministry for Foreign Trade-DTM and Its Activities, Turkish Foreign Trade Policies and Turkey-Balkan Countries Trade Relations, Conducting Market Researches, Training Programs for Exporters in Turkey, Organizing Trade Missions, Participation in International Fairs, Information Technologies for Establishing Exporters/Importers Database, Establishing A Trade Point, General Overview of the Business Management System.

Within the concept of the program, the participants also found the opportunity to hear useful presentations on the activities of the Turkish International Cooperation Agency-TIKA, Export Credit Bank of Turkey-EXIMBANK, Investment Support and Promotion Agency of Turkey-ISPAT, Small and Medium Industry Development Organization-KOSGEB, The Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Turkey-TOBB, İstanbul Precious Minerals and Jewellery Exporters' Association-IMMIB and Foreign Economic Relations Board-DEIK.)
