THE 11TH EXECUTIVE COMMITTEE MEETING OF BCTP HELD IN SOFIA
The 11th Executive Committee Meeting of Balkan Regional Center for Trade Promotion-BCTP, was held on March 11, 2009 in Sofia under the organization of Bulgarian Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion Agency (BSMEPA) as the Chairman of BCTP for the year 2009.
The Permanent Secretariat of BCTP, Export Promotion Center of Turkey-ÝGEME, the host Organization of the Meeting, BSMPEA and the representatives from BCTP Counterpart Organizations of Greece, Romania and Serbia participated in the Meeting to draw up the 2009 activity program of the Center.
The evaluation of 2008 BCTP activities, the presentations on the activities of BCTP Counterpart Organizations, the working program for 2009 and the new targets for BCTP were the main topics of the 11th Executive Committee Meeting. All participants of the 11th Executive Committee Meeting made a consensus on the below mentioned BCTP activities for 2009.
- Balkan Trade Bulletin
One issue will be published in 2009.
- Organization of Seminars on “Business Management System”
IGEME will organize “Business Management System” seminars in Serbia and in Montenegro in 2009.
- Info-stand Participations
The BCTP info-stand participations to the international fairs will be realized in Bulgaria and Romania.
- BCTP Matchmaking and Training Program for Women Entrepreneurs
BSMEPA will organize Women Entrepreneurship Training Program together with business matchmaking (special boutique trade delegation) program in Sofia in October 2009.
- Partnership Project of EU’s Leonardo da Vinci Program on Vocational Training in 2010.
IGEME will be the coordinater partner and prepare a project on “Foreign Trade Training Applications for SMEs in BCTP Member Countries” to be submitted by the end of 2009.
- BCTP web site
To update the web site, all the members will send the necessary information together with their web site addresses concerning their countries and organizations
- Exchanging Expert Delegations
Volunteer BCTP Counterpart Organizations will exchange experts and organize familiarization visits
- Enlargement of BCTP
Related organizations from Croatia and Bosnia-Herzegovina will be invited to the next Executive Committee Meeting by the RTPC.
-BCTP Newsletter
A BCTP newsletter will be created. SIEPA will make the preliminary design.
- All BCTP Counterpart Organizations will give special attention to exchange the trade information of their countries regularly.
IGEME is selected to hold the Chairmanship for 2010 and venue for the 12th Executive Committee Meeting will be in Ankara or in Istanbul.
